Vehicle Guide
● The 200 series is a Shinkansen train developed for the Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen lines, which opened in 1982. Its cold-weather and snow-resistant structure was enhanced to suit the climate of the areas in which it operates.
●The K編成 (K formation) trains, which were prepared for coupling with the Yamagata and Akita Shinkansen lines, had coupling capabilities installed in the 222 series leading car on the Morioka side.
