Vehicle Guide
●The Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit 70-000 series is a train that was introduced in 1996 for use on the Rinkai Line, which opened in Tokyo.
●Initially, the train consisted of four cars, but with the opening of the entire line, it was expanded to a 10-car formation, including the existing trains.
●The four train sets introduced in 2002 were initially 10-car formations.
●Currently, in addition to operating on the Rinkai Line between Shin-Kiba and Osaki, it also runs on the JR Saikyo Line and Kawagoe Line, so you can see it in action on JR lines as well.
