"This is the highlight"POINT:1Reproduce the leading car with its distinctive front eaves shape
POINT:2 The skirt part is made of two parts, with the skirt body (blue) and the attachment part (dark gray, underfloor color) color-coded for reproduction.
POINT: 3 The cooler reproduces the MAU726A-G5 type cooler, which has a distinctive fan opening shape on one side.
◆ Actual vehicle guide
・Tokyo Waterfront Area Rapid Transit Rinkai Line is a 12.2km line connecting Osaki and Shinkiba
・The 70-000 series was introduced on the line when it opened in 1996, and 80 cars had been manufactured by 2002.
・The new 71-000 series will be introduced in 2025.
The exterior design of the 71-000 series inherits the rounded appearance of the 70-000 series while incorporating the generosity of the sea and waves, and the eaves shape at the top of the front emphasize the horizontal expanse.
・The front coloring inherits the color of the 70-000 series, but is designed to evoke a "gentle smile" to create a sense of familiarity.
・Eight trains (80 cars) will be introduced by fiscal year 2027, and will be used on the Rinkai Line as well as the JR Saikyo Line and Kawagoe Line.
