◆Vehicle Guide
The E5 series, which debuted in 2011 as "Hayabusa," is currently operating at a maximum speed of 320 km/h as of 2025.
"TOHOKU Relax" is the brand name for the "Tohoku Treasures Project" launched by the JR East Group in July 2023, and the mark is affixed to the first car.
Features
- The "TOHOKU Relax" logo on the side of the E523 series and the "Treasure land TOHOKU-JAPAN" logo on the side of the E514 series are reproduced by printing.
- This product (cars 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10) can be combined with add-on set A (product number 98498) to recreate a full 10-car train.
- Car numbers are selectable and transfer sheets are included. - Anti-slip surface on the roof is reproduced with gray printing.
- Equipped with movable gangway connection - Equipped with movable pantograph - Hook and U-shaped powered coupler adopted
- The driver's cab side of the E514, which connects with the E6 series and other trains, is equipped with a TN coupler.
- The movable gangway replicates the black outer gangway adopted from the U28 formation onwards. - The Hayabusa logo, Gran Class mark, and car number markings are pre-printed. - Headlights and taillights are equipped with a constant lighting circuit board.
The headlights use white LEDs, and the taillights use red LEDs.
The E514 model has an ON/OFF switch for the head and tail lights.
- Features a flywheel-equipped motor, a new current collection system, and silver wheels.
