POINT 2: The appearance with the end-face windows has been recreated using newly manufactured parts.

Vehicle Guide
●The 201 series is a commuter train introduced by the Japanese National Railways (JNR) in 1979.
●This train was the first in the Japanese National Railways to adopt armature chopper control, resulting in an energy-saving and low-maintenance vehicle.
● The 201 series trains from the Akashi branch of the Aboshi General Rolling Stock Center were in service on the Keihanshin Local Line and Fukuchiyama Line until March 2007.
●Ventilators were removed starting in 2002, renovation work began in 2003, and the skirts were changed to reinforced types from 2005. However, the C3 and C31 train sets, which remained in service until the end, were unrenovated and retained their ventilators.

●JRマーク、靴摺りは印刷済み
●車番、一部標記は選択式で転写シート付属
●前面表示部は交換式で印刷済みパーツ｢西明石｣装着済み、交換用パーツ｢京都･高槻･大阪･甲子園口･尼崎･須磨･神戸方面大久保･神戸方面加古川･京都方面草津･湖西線堅田･宝塚線新三田・宝塚線塚口｣付属
●ヘッド・テールライト、前面表示部は点灯
●先頭車運転台側はダミーカプラー装着済み
●黒色車輪、フライホイール付動力採用
