Vehicle Guide
● The KiHa 261 series 1000 series is a limited express diesel railcar owned by JR Hokkaido.
●The 6th series trains, which debuted with a paint scheme of white with purple and gray stripes from the start, had the number of wipers on the driver's cab's front window changed from one to two.
● The "Hokuto" limited express train connecting Hakodate and Sapporo is operated using KiHa 261 series 1000 series trains consisting of 5 to 8 cars, and operates 11 round trips per day.
