This high-grade model faithfully reproduces the Kiha 82 series, which mainly operated on Honshu and had different specifications from the Hokkaido version!

POINT 1: The lead car, the Kiha 82 series, comes in two types: an early model with added air conditioning units, and a later model with added units from the start.
POINT 2: The crew door window is reproduced without the printed representation of the tablet protection rail.
Vehicle Guide
The KiHa 82 series is a limited express diesel railcar that appeared in 1961 to establish a nationwide limited express network. Its front shape, designed with splitting and merging in mind, was completed with panoramic windows and light cases.
●The KiHa 82 series, which was mainly used on non-electrified lines throughout Japan except for Shikoku, was also known as the "Queen" and played an active role.
