Vehicle Guide
● The 185 series 0-series was a limited express train introduced in 1981 to replace the 153 series, which was used for express and local trains to the Izu area. For about six months after its introduction, it was used on the express Izu service, sharing the route with the 153 series.
●After the express train "Izu" was upgraded to a limited express train and became the "Odoriko," this series of trains mainly operated on the Odoriko route. In the late 1990s, it underwent renovations, including the replacement of seats with reclining seats, and was used until 2021.

●By combining this set with <97241>, you can recreate the 10-car A formation, and by combining it with <97242>, you can recreate the 15-car 185 series formation. Furthermore, by combining <97241> with <97613> 153 series basic set B, you can recreate the express Izu and local trains with mixed formations that were in use when the 185 series first appeared.
●The car number is selectable and uses transfer sheets (use the one included in the basic set).
●Shoe sills and door rails are pre-printed.
●Toilet drain pipe already installed, tank parts included for replacement.
● Each connecting car is equipped with a standard TN coupler (SP) with piping.
● New current collection system, black wheels adopted
