Actual vehicle introduction
The EF81 type was introduced in 1968 as an electric locomotive compatible with both DC and AC 50/60Hz, and is currently in use as the standard AC/DC locomotive.
- The 400 series, which was created by converting the 0 series into a multiple-unit unit to replace the EF30 series, was transferred to the Toyama Locomotive Depot, and one of these, No. 404, was unique in that it was painted the same as the other 0 series during the renovation work.

・Among the 400th generation renewal cars, the white belt reproduces the 404th unit that entered the entire circumference of the car body as well as the 0th generation renewal car.
