Actual vehicle introduction

● The KiHa 400 series 500-series trains are vehicles that were converted from the KiHa 400 series used for the Soya Line express trains into parlor cars, and three of them were introduced starting in 1997.
●This train set was used exclusively for group charter trains, but it was also coupled in units of 1 to 3 cars to regular trains, and was often coupled to the unmodified KiHa 400 series Soya Line express train "Rishiri".

● High-grade (HG) specifications
●The Kiha 400-500 series, a modified passenger car, is reproduced with its distinctive paint scheme.
●The one door that was filled in during the modification has been newly manufactured to recreate it.
●The seats in cars 501 and 503 of the T car are designed to resemble the low tables and cushions unique to tatami-style passenger cars.
●The seat in car number 502 of the M car will have a flat surface for functional reasons.
● The logo and car number on the side of the car body are pre-printed.
●The front display section is interchangeable and comes with pre-printed parts for "Special," "Group," "Express," and "Rapid."
● The door rails are pre-printed in silver.
● Headlights, taillights, and front display light up; includes ON/OFF switch.
●TN coupler (SP) already installed
●Features a black bogie frame, black wheels, and a flywheel-equipped motor.
