Product Introduction
●The unified standards for small steam locomotives established in the 1940s led to the introduction of various sizes and types of standardized steam locomotives into private railways and industrial and military railways throughout Japan.
●The Japanese National Railways (JNR) introduced the 20-ton B20 class locomotives for shunting, but larger 25-ton class locomotives were also introduced to local private railways and industrial railways, and many locomotives of the same style also existed on narrow-gauge railways.
●These locomotives were phased out early due to quality issues, but some, including the JNR B20 series, were used until the 1960s and 70s, and some are still preserved today.
Features
●A set that combines a steam locomotive with small covered wagons and tank cars, creating the image of an old-fashioned freight train.
● The locomotive has the car number "B89" printed on it.
●The exterior of the B89 is reproduced in a style that is reminiscent of the standardized small steam locomotives designated by the Vehicle Control Association.
● The exterior of the covered wagon is reproduced in a style that resembles a small wooden wagon.
●The covered freight car has the car number "Wa1039" printed on it.
●The exterior of the tank car reproduces the appearance of the support beams at the front and rear of the tank body and the rods that extend to the underframe.
●The tank car has the car number "Ta270" printed on it.
●The wheels are made of metal and are silver in color.
