POINT: The handrails under the windows and the rooftop monitor are blue, and the raised whistle and other features seen on cars stationed at the Shinonoi Locomotive Depot during the JNR era are reproduced.

◆ Actual vehicle guide
-The EF62 electric locomotive was introduced in 1963 as the main engine for direct service through the Usui Pass on the Shinetsu Main Line, and the EF63 electric locomotive was coupled to it in the pass section.
-The second type has a roof lightning arrester located in the center of the car body, and the side louvers are finer.

- The secondary form with fine-meshed side louvers is reproduced using a vehicle that belonged to the Shinonoi Locomotive Depot during the JNR era.
