房総地区の新聞輸送電車クモユニ143形横須賀色で製品化決定！！
クモユニ143形は1981年の身延線新性能化に合わせて登場した車両です。
同線の線区事情に合わせて郵便室と荷物室が設置された合造車となっています。
同車はのちに長岡運転所に転属し新潟地区でも使用されましたが、1986年ごろに再度幕張電車区へ転属し房総地区の新聞荷物輸送に供され、1996年まで本線上で活躍しました。
以降は各地の車両基地で入替用車両として使用され、現在もクモユニ143-3が訓練用機械として姿をとどめています。
今回は房総地区で活躍したクモユニ143形の横須賀色を製品化いたします。
