- JR BEC819 Series DENCHA 2-Car Set
The BEC819 series is an AC overhead line battery electric train introduced by JR Kyushu.
It was introduced in 2016 with the aim of replacing diesel cars on non-electrified sections.
Under the overhead wires, the train collects electricity from a pantograph to run and store it, and in non-electrified sections, it can run using the stored electricity.
Nicknamed "DENCHA," it is currently in operation on the Chikuho Main Line and Kashii Line.
This product recreates the Nogata Rolling Stock Center's No. 0 series locomotive.
We recommend the TM-15 (20m class A3) power unit, TT-04R running parts set, and C-PS27<6713> pantograph.
