The fifth-generation Crown debuted in 1974. It adopted the four-door pillared hardtop body style that was popular in America at the time.
Its refined, straight-line body style, combined with the advertising slogan "The beautiful Crown of Japan," contributed to its immense popularity.
After two minor redesigns in 1976 and 1978, the design of the front end changed significantly in the later model.
The enlarged, vertically oriented front grille exuded both presence and a sense of solidity.
Furthermore, this generation also saw the introduction of the "Super Saloon Extra," which featured an extra interior to cater to the needs of those seeking a more upscale vehicle, positioned between the Royal Saloon and the Super Saloon.
This time, we've recreated the 2000 Super Saloon Extra, a late-model 2-liter luxury car with a 5-number license plate, from around 1978.
Details such as the side moldings that adorn the front and center of the vehicle, and the emblems attached to the rear fenders, were expressed through painting.
