●Here are the highlights●
① A new version of the classic ambulance is now available!
② A reproduction of a real car that once existed!
③ Popular Showa-era emergency vehicles
Before the widespread use of one-box cars like today, ambulances were common with wagon bodies based on passenger cars.
In particular, the Toyota Ambulance has significantly enlarged its body size to secure space for emergency operations while retaining the image of the Crown passenger car, and it has been equipped with a 6-cylinder 3900cc engine designed for large vehicles, further enhancing its power performance.
The bonnet-type Toyota ambulance, which retains the Crown image (sometimes called the Metropolitan type depending on the era), produced three generations by around 1971, all of which are attractive for their sleek style that makes the most of their large body size.
In particular, the final model, the FS55V, was commercialized even in the classic TOMICA and became a long-selling model for about 20 years, making it a well-known presence.
As part of last year's 55th anniversary project for the TOMICA, a modified version of the Toyota Ambulance FS55V, which was also released by TLV, is now available.
This time, we will recreate the specifications that were stationed at the Honda Fire Station in Katsushika Ward, under the jurisdiction of the Tokyo Fire Department.
Whether you have memories of playing at TOMICA, need emergency Car/Vehicle, or fans of the Showa era, you can enjoy it for all kinds of fans.
