To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Kodomo no Kuni, Datsun Baby is born at TLV.
●Here are the highlights●
① Introducing the new children's car "Datsun Baby"!
② Collaboration project between "Kodomo no Kuni" and "TLV"
3. Comes with a figure inspired by the time the park first opened!
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the opening of Kanagawa Prefecture's children's welfare facility "Children's Country", this is a collaboration project of TOMICA Limited Vintage.
When the park first opened in 1965, as a traffic training for children, they were instructed and issued a "Children's Automobile Association membership card", and they were able to drive a special car on a course with a total length of 1.6 km.
The car is the "Datsun Baby", which was donated by Nissan Motor Company in 100 units.
Equipped with a 199cc single-cylinder engine and a torque converter that did not require shifting, the Datsun Baby has been popular with a total of 200,000 people in the park for about 8 years since its opening.
This time, TLV will commercialize the Datsun Baby with a figure reminiscent of the park's first opening.
Of the actual cars produced in three colors, two colors are first available in white and red.
The white No. 6 car is inspired by the appearance of a new car with wheelcaps, and comes with a figure of a child driving and an adult taking pictures.
Car No. 100 reproduces the specifications after it was restored in 2014 and comes with a figure of a child wearing a triangular hat.
The roof of the Datsun Baby is a separate part, making it easier to ride the figure.
All TLVs are on a uniform scale of 1/64, so the small size of the Datsun Baby is also outstanding.

Figures such as adults in suits and children wearing triangular hats are included with the theme of the opening of the "Children's Country".
Both can remove the roof and put a child driver in the driver's seat.
