New specifications for TLV's "Yotahachi"! Two new custom models are now available!
●Here are the highlights●
① New specifications for the popular Yotahachi
②Reproduces the details of the '69 model (LV-139c)
③Water transfer decals such as bib numbers are included (LV-215a)
The Toyota Sports 800, released in 1965, was a compact sports car that utilized the mechanics of the popular Publica car.
Despite its weak air-cooled two-cylinder engine, its incredibly light weight of just 580kg made it particularly effective in endurance races.
Its aerodynamic style was also attractive, and it became known affectionately as Toyohachi, and later Yotahachi.
TLV has produced early and late models, but this time they are releasing the final model, a '69 model with replaced wheels (LV-139c), and a two-tone '65 model (LV-215a) inspired by the race specs.
In particular, the LV-215a comes with a set of water-transfer decals that can be used to recreate the race number and other details, so you can enjoy creating your own specifications in a variety of settings, such as when the car was in active service or in historic car races in later years.
*The roof of the LV-215a cannot be removed.
