The third generation Lancer Evolution, following on from the Lancer Evolution VII that was released in 2001, is the final model of the CT9A series, the Lancer Evolution IX MR.
The Evolution IX MR, released in 2006, was the last model to feature the famous 4G63 engine, which had been installed for many years.
"MR" is the name of a high-performance model inherited from the classic Galant GTO, and was adopted by the Lancer Evolution starting with the Evolution VIII MR in 2004.
The Evolution IX MR features a more refined turbocharger and increased capacity Active Yaw Control (AYC), among other improvements in terms of feel, making it a car that can be considered the culmination of all previous Lancer Evolution models.
TLV-NEO has produced the second generation Lancer Evolution IV to VI, but this time we will be producing the Lancer GSR Evolution IX MR with a completely new mold.
Also pay attention to the reproduction of the lip spoiler that is a characteristic of the Evolution IX MR and the aluminum roof panel ribs adopted from the VIII MR.
