Crown Estate Athlete V debuts as TLV-NEO to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Crown
●Here are the highlights●
①170 series Crown Estate appears with a completely new mold
②Pay attention to the parts that symbolize the athletic style
3) A luxury, high-performance wagon unique to around 2000
The 170 series Crown, which was released in 1999, was split into two series: the luxury Royal and the Athlete, which emphasized driving performance. It was also notable that it had a sedan body with window frames for the first time in a long time, and that the wagon model that had continued to be produced since the 130 series, which was released in 1987, was finally redesigned under the name Estate.
The 170 series was the last Crown passenger car to be equipped with an in-line six-cylinder engine, and has recently been attracting attention as a Crown that retains the flavor of the 20th century, ahead of the major changes that will come with the 180 series that will follow.
TLV-NEO will produce the 170 series Crown Estate using a completely new mold.
First up is the Athlete V, the highest-output version with 280 horsepower, which reproduces the Athlete's distinctive front grille and lights.
Enjoy the unique feel of the 170 series Athlete, which combines spaciousness with relaxed driving.
