The first-generation Honda City became hugely popular with its tall style and humorous commercials.
Since its introduction in 1981, popular variations such as the Turbo and Turbo II have been added every year, and in 1984 the open-body Cabriolet was introduced.
Riding the global trend of open-top cars making a comeback, this is the first domestically produced open-top model in 14 years.
With safety as a priority, the model retained a roll bar near the B-pillar, and with its comical appearance based on the wide fender body of the Turbo II, and with commercial copy such as "Sun comes standard" and "Take it off, paradise," it was a car that was typical of Honda at the time, generating fun buzz around it.
The TLV-NEO series introduces a new model for the City Cabriolet, which was released in April 2022 and received positive reviews.
Please also pay attention to the roll bar remaining near the pillar and the fully open side window, just like the real car.
It is a four-seater open-top body, which is rare for a Japanese car, and the interior is reproduced as closely as possible to ensure visibility.
The actual car was available in 12 body colors, but this time it comes in warm orange and deep blue, and the CABRIOLET decals on the sides are also reproduced in print.
