The history of the rotary engine, which was temporarily halted with the end of production of the RX-7, resumed with the release of the RX-8 in 2003.
Although it was a four-door, four-seater car, the compact rotary engine was essential to embody Mazda's vision of a sports car.
The RX-8, which has evolved to suit the 21st century while retaining the image of Mazda's previous sports cars, underwent major changes to both the interior and exterior in 2008 and was produced until 2012. It is currently known as the last rotary sports car.
TLV-NEO will commercialize the later model of the RX-8 in August 2024 using a new mold.
The bonnet can be opened and closed, and the engine cover is removable, allowing you to see inside the engine bay.
The new navy blue color was the main color when the later model was first introduced.
