Two forms of the former electric diesel railcar prototype Kiha 44000 type modified JNR Kiha Uni 15 type will be produced!
This two-car set features different side passenger window shapes and front paint schemes. It also goes perfectly with the Tomix JNR Kiha 10 series!
The JNR Kiha Uni 15 series was developed between 1957 and 1958 by modifying the Kiha 44000 series (later the first generation Kiha 09 series), an electric diesel railcar with a Shonan-type front that was introduced in 1952.
This modification is considered to be a common liquid-type diesel railcar.
In addition, some vehicles were later modified to have a through-type front.
This product will be produced in two cars, an early model with single-pane passenger windows and a later model with bus windows, in the standard JNR diesel railcar color.
We recommend the TT-03R running parts set. (The power unit is not compatible.)
