Fujikyu's BYD K9 is now available!
In March 2020, Fujikyu Bus introduced the first electric bus in Yamanashi Prefecture, a large low-floor bus manufactured by BYD. This vehicle does not use any gasoline and runs by powering the motor with electricity from a charged battery. In the event of a disaster, the electric bus can be used as a mobile battery to light up LED lights, charge smartphones, and secure rest areas, and it also has a mission to help residents and tourists in the surrounding area. The design is an eye-catching "EV-BUS" logo on a bus shaped like an outlet so that it is immediately clear that it is an environmentally friendly "electric bus," and the branches extending from the logo connect to the greenery of Mt. Fuji, expressing consideration for the natural environment and a determination to continue protecting the nature of Mt. Fuji, a World Heritage Site.
