Upper deck single track truss steel bridge S280(F)(red)(with 2 brick piers)

An upper-deck truss bridge is a type of bridge that is installed in locations where there is ample space beneath the girders.
Because the tracks are built on top of the truss, reinforcement in the direction of the sleepers can be incorporated within the truss, resulting in greater strength than through-type truss bridges, and also offering the advantage of lower pier heights.
