The 1000 series retro-designed train "Good Train, Connecting Everyone," featuring a special paint scheme commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Fukushima Kotsu Iizaka Line, is set to be produced as a model!
Fukushima Kotsu is a bus and railway operator with a transportation network mainly in Fukushima Prefecture, and its railway line is the Iizaka Line, which runs from Fukushima Station to Iizaka Onsen Station.
The 1000 series is currently the main train type operating on the Iizaka Line. It was introduced between 2017 and 2019 after being modified from the Tokyu Corporation's 1000 series.
This is the first time the company's railway vehicles have adopted the VVVF inverter control system.
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Iizaka Line's opening in 2024, one train set (two cars) was wrapped in a design that mimicked the red and cream color scheme used on the line before its voltage was increased in 1991.
This time, we will be releasing a product based on the 1107 series train with this special wrapping.
We recommend the TM-06R (18m class A) power unit, the TT-03R running gear set, and the PT7113B <0249> pantograph.
