The Boso region newspaper transport train, Kumouni 143, will be produced in Yokosuka colors!
The Kumouni 143 series was introduced in 1981 to coincide with the upgrade of the Minobu Line's performance.
This combined car is equipped with a mail room and baggage room to suit the line's conditions.
The vehicle was later transferred to Nagaoka Depot and used in the Niigata area, but around 1986 it was transferred back to Makuhari Depot and used to transport newspapers and luggage in the Boso area, remaining in service on the main line until 1996.
Since then, they have been used as shunting vehicles at various depots, and KuMoUni 143-3 remains in use today as a training vehicle.
This time we will be producing the Yokosuka color version of the Kumouni 143 type, which was active in the Boso region.
It also works great with the TOMIX 113-1000 series!
We recommend the TM-14 (20m class A2) power unit, TT-03R running parts set, and PS23<0229> pantograph.
