The 510 Datsun Bluebird, which was released in 1967, established the appeal of Japanese cars overseas as being affordable, high-performance, and easy to use.
The 510 model, which combined advanced mechanisms such as an OHC engine, four-wheel independent suspension (passenger car type), and a ventilation system that eliminated triangular windows with exceptional durability, was exported to countries around the world and is still beloved as a famous Japanese car.
The two-door sedan, available from the time of its debut, was designed for business use and for families with small children to prevent the door from opening accidentally.
Although it is relatively rare in Japan, it has become a popular body type for export to the United States.
TLV has been developing the 510 Bluebird sedan and van in 1/64 scale since 2009, but this time, a new variation of the 2-door sedan has been released for the first time in a long while.
We will be adding the 1970 1400 Standard and the 1969 North American spec DATSUN 510 (local model name).
Please also pay attention to details such as the front grille and taillights that differ depending on the model year.
Body colors for both models can be selected from the original colors, with the 1400 Standard being a green-based color and the North American model being a simple yet vibrant turquoise blue.
