Hiroshima Electric Railway Series 1900 re-released with new car numbers
Hiroshima Electric Railway is one of the largest tram operators in Japan.
The company operates a mix of new and old vehicles, from new LRTs to vehicles transferred from other operators.
The company's 1900 series was originally a Kyoto City Tram and was transferred to Hiroshima Electric Railway between 1977 and 1978, with 15 cars operating on the city line.
Some of the vehicles will be taken out of service in 2024, but they are still in use today.
The Railway Collection recreates the appearance of cars 1906 and 1913 before their current collectors were refurbished.
