Kominato Railway's flagship vehicle, the Kiha 200 series, will be produced with the car number on the front!
The Kominato Railway is a railway line that connects Goi Station and Kazusa-Nakano Station in Chiba Prefecture with an operating distance of approximately 39 km.
The Kiha 200 series is a self-ordered vehicle manufactured since 1961, with 14 cars making their debut.
There are minor differences depending on the year of manufacture, such as the shape of the sides and passenger doors.
In recent years, some of the vehicles have been replaced with Kiha 40 series trains transferred from JR East, but they are still in active service even now, more than 60 years after their debut.
This product recreates the Kiha 205, which has a red rain gutter on the upper side that reproduces the paint scheme of the 1970s and 1980s, and the later model Kiha 211, which is equipped with non-pressed doors and unit sashes, and has the car number on the front.
Kiha 205 has a front car number and red side gutters
