The S2000 is a rear-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car developed to commemorate Honda's 50th anniversary.
With a name reminiscent of the classic S-series, an open body, an engine that effortlessly revved up to nearly 9000 rpm, and front-engine, rear-wheel drive, everything about it was different from other Honda cars of the time.
It was released in 1999 and was sold until 2009, undergoing several minor changes such as changes to the interior and exterior and an increase in engine displacement. Due to its unique character, it has remained highly popular even after production ended.
TLV-NEO has been selling the S2000 since September 2022 and has received positive reviews, and now we are releasing a new specification.
This time, we are focusing on the later model, and in particular, the N280d reproduces the Type V, which is equipped with a new steering mechanism called the world's first speed-responsive variable gear ratio (VGS). We have reproduced the D-shaped steering wheel and the VGS emblem on the rear, which are exclusive to the Type V.
This product has an openable engine hood, recreating the F22C engine. The hood comes with parts for both the open and closed states. Please take note of the sophisticated coloring of both.
