Asa Kaigan Railway is a railway and bus operator connecting Kaiyo Town in Tokushima Prefecture and Toyo Town in Kochi Prefecture.
On December 25, 2021, the world's first full-scale commercial operation of the DMV (Dual Mode Vehicle) began.
It is attracting attention both in Japan and abroad as a new way of promoting tourism and regional revitalization using railways, and supporting victims of disasters in the event of a disaster.
This time, to commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the start of operation, we will commercialize the Asa Coast Railway DMV-933 (Asa Coast Restoration).
The DMV is a special vehicle that can run on railroad tracks and roads by changing modes, and the product is also designed to be able to switch to railway mode and bus mode by operating a lever under the floor.
Due to the characteristics of the rolling stock, it will be released under the double brand of the Railway Collection and The Bus Collection.
