Before the spread of one-box cars as we know them today, ambulances were generally wagon bodies based on passenger cars.
In particular, the Toyota ambulance has significantly expanded the body size to secure the space necessary for emergency operations while retaining the image of the Crown passenger car, and the power performance has been enhanced by installing a 6-cylinder 3900cc engine for large vehicles.
Three generations of Toyota ambulances with a bonnet type (also called the Metropolitan type depending on the era) that retains the image of the Crown were produced by around 1971, and all of them have a stretchy style that takes advantage of the large body size.
In particular, the final model, the FS55V model, was commercialized in the TOMICA of yesteryear and became a long-seller for about 20 years, and was a well-known presence.

As part of the 55th anniversary of the birth of TOMICA, we are pleased to announce that the Toyota Ambulance FS55V will also be commercialized in TLV.
TLV has commercialized 50 series Crown sedans, hardtops, vans, etc., and it is because of the 1/64 unified scale TLV that you can feel the difference in the size and design of ambulances on the model.
This time, we used the specifications of an existing vehicle that was recently restored, and reproduced the interior that can be seen from the small window as much as possible.
