The Toyota Sora was first unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2017 and began leasing in March 2018.
This is the first fuel cell bus in Japan to receive type certification (ZBC-MUM1NAE) from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. The vehicle introduced to Tokushima Bus is the first in Shikoku.
Tokushima Bus Co., Ltd. is an operator headquartered in Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture, and has an expanding route network from Higashikagawa City in Kagawa Prefecture in the north to Katsuura Town and Anan City in the south.
It was established in 1942 as a merger of Tokushima Buses, and this year marks its 82nd anniversary.
It operates from seven offices: Tokushima, Bandai, Kitajima, Naruto, Kamojima, Tachibana, and Komatsushima.
